Do I need to fast before the blood test?
Blood samples should be taken in the morning; patients should have an overnight fast of at least 8 hours, but not more than 12 hours.

How can I access the report from the internet?
You can ask the staff at the reception desk to get this service, which is free of charge. The INR codes are sent as text messages.

Which exams can be carried out in convention with the National Health System (SSN)?
Laboratory analysis and radiological exams can be carried out in convention with the National Health System.

Does the doctor's “red
Yes, it does: the deadline is one year from the request letter date.

Can I take all the analysis types in convention with the National Health System?
Yes, you can take all but those which are not provided by the national health system, and those which can only be carried out in the hospital.

How long does it take to get the results?
Routine analysis is delivered within the day. For more specialist analysis it can take some days.

Which documents are necessary to check-in?
You need to have the doctor’s “red” appointment request letter to benefit from the convention with the National Health System. A regular (white) appointment request letter is though necessary to access as private. Moreover, you need to have your health card and a valid ID card.

What if I am exempt from paying on the basis of income?
In addition to the documents previously listed, you need to provide the document issued by the ASL, which proves your right to exemption.
